Greyhome Partners is a design build firm located in Greenwich, CT. The partners, Margaret Schaftel and Tomasz Trzaska, combine their creative design and construction expertise to create beautiful living spaces. Incorporating modern construction and design techniques, the team has transformed traditional spaces into light and airy modern living spaces.
Margaret Schaftel
Graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a degree in Economics and Japanese, Margaret previously had a career in finance where she worked at Morgan Stanley as an international equities sales trader. After working closely with the design build team for her own home, Margaret launched her career in interior design and residential renovations. Margaret has a design firm MADesigns where she has worked on both interior design and residential renovation projects for the last seven years. She has an MBA in Finance from UCLA and received a Master of Science degree in Construction Management from Columbia University in 2021.
Tomasz Trzaska
Tomasz has worked in residential construction as a master carpenter and contractor for over 20 years. Tomasz has a general contracting firm, Trzaska Construction, and has been the lead general contractor on luxury new home construction projects, with most of his career working for an award winning luxury home builder in Connecticut. He brings his extensive construction expertise and craftsmanship to the partnership. Tomasz and Margaret have worked on projects together for over six years, launching their partnership design build firm Greyhome Partners in early 2020.
